Back from Bolivia

Best costume award

This family was all ready to go with their coordinating outfits, and very cute dresses for the baby. Ever since this shoot, I've been in love with little girls and tutus.

The cutest little sweater vest

I love everything about this kid—from the bright blue eyes and cute little rolls to the sweater vest. And his parents are pretty great, too.

Big brother

A baby sister arrived a couple of weeks after these pictures were taken!

A good reason to cancel an appointment

On the day I was booked to shoot some belly pictures of this little guy, his dad called me to cancel the appointment—from the hospital! He arrived a bit early, and a week later I was at their place to take these newborn photos.

We found some great spots for this engagement session in the fall. I'm looking forward to the wedding in August. Kari will be a beautiful bride!

Happy New Year!

I spent New Year's in Mexico this year, sitting on the pool deck, walking on the beach, and enjoying a couple of authentic margaritas. And all of it with my family. We all had fun in the sun, but it was especially fun to watch my one-year-old nephew enjoying the beach and the pool for the first time.
