Merry Christmas

This baby, born three weeks ago, is a special Christmas present for her family. The gift of a baby is what this season is all about.

A child has been born for us,
a son given to us;
authority rests upon his shoulders;
and he is named
Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6

God gave us the gift of a Savior, born as a tiny, precious baby, to be Emmanuel - God with us. May His peace, joy and love be with you this Christmas season.

A year in the life

Whether it's engagement and wedding to belly and baby photos, or just family pictures year over year, I love when I get to go back and take pictures with a family over time—to see a family grow, the kids develop personalities. These pictures were taken at three different shoots over the past year. I hope to watch these girls grow more for next time, and the time after that.

Double the pleasure

Newborn photos of twins has to be one of the sweetest things ever. These sisters snuggled up close to eachother. So beautiful!

Puppy love

Last fall we caught a perfect fall day to capture some family photos of this couple with their sweet puppy. Around here that's no small feat - the leaves seem to change color over night and then blow away with the next big wind. Hopefully this year provides another good window. Unfortunately it's coming sooner than we might like.

Exploring

Babies this age just won't sit still! Just learning to crawl, climbing up on everything, escaping at every chance. They're suddenly so adventurous.
